This page outlines the difference between each course code, how to select a project and how to enrol.

The information below is a guide only. Students must refer to the relevant Course Profile for further information.

4. How to enrol

To enrol in your chosen course, please follow the instructions provided here: 

Course Enrolment instructions Having difficulties finding a project?
ENGG4600 and ENGG4601

When you have discussed your project interest with the academic staff member and they have confirmed they will supervise you on the project, email studentenquiries@mechmining.uq.edu.au (Cc your supervisor) with the following details:

  • Student name
  • Student number
  • Name of UQ Academic Supervisor
  • Project title

If you have followed the steps outlined above to select a thesis topic and are unable to secure a project and supervisor, please contact the Course Coordinator to discuss your supervision needs. The Course Coordinator's details can be found online here (ENGG4600, ENGG4601).

ENGG4552 Enrolment can be completed via SI-net as per a normal course enrolment. Permission to enrol is not required.This course is only offered in semester 1 each year. A list of available design projects can be found on the project database. Please contact the Course Coordinator to discuss your interests. The Course Coordinator's details can be found online here.
ENGG4013 This course is not offered in 2021.

 

ENGG4281 & ENGG4282

ENGG7290 Contact the EAIT Employability team on employability@eait.uq.edu.au to discuss your placement opportunities. The EAIT Employability team will liaise directly with the School to finalise your thesis enrolment.
