Scholarship in decarbonising natural gas for the production of low-to-zero emission hydrogen through methane pyrolysis. Students with experience in numerical modelling and a keen interest in computational fluid dynamics are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship in large-scale metal hydride-based hydrogen storage for the transportation and grid integration of hydrogen gas.  Students with a working knowledge of energy materials, including Mg-based hydrogen storage alloys, solidification, interfacial reactions and microstructure, are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship in the development of in operando electron microscopy methods for designing improved carbon dioxide electrochemical reduction materials. A working knowledge of electrochemistry or electron microscopy would be of benefit to someone working on this project. Students who meet the entry requirements for a higher degree by research are eligible and are encouraged to apply.
