Researcher biography
Matthew is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow currently working in the field of energy system modelling in the Centre for Multiscale Energy Systems within the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering. Current projects include modelling Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) systems, and hydrogen gas transport and storage. I hold a BE/BSc, along a PhD, both from UQ. My thesis was completed under the supervision of Dr. Klimenko and Prof. Bhatia, and focused on boundary interactions in nanoscale gas transport. I have further research interests in systems modelling, nanoscale fluid mechanics, kinetic theory and biofluidics.
